Find a partner
Sub-contractor, supplier or joint-bid partner: where to find them on a given tender, how to request an introduction, and how to be found.
Many tenders ask for what one company does not have alone: an approval of a higher category, equipment, references in another trade, a whole lot to supply. The SangoBids network is for that: find the sub-contractor, supplier or joint-bid partner who completes your file, and be found when you are the one who completes someone else's. This article follows an introduction from a tender page to the first exchange.
Three ways in
On a tender page, the Partners tab gathers everything happening around that contract: the companies that declared themselves available for it, those looking for a joint bid, the requests posted, and the companies in your country and sector that complement your profile. On a phone, a line under the verdict says how many firms are available and opens the tab. It is the most useful door: you are looking for a partner for a specific contract, and so are the others.
The company directory (Network menu) lists member companies that said what they offer, with filters by region, sector and offer type: sub-contracting, supply, joint bid. Each profile shows in brief what the company does, its skills, certifications, references, and whether its administrative file is up to date.
The Tuesday e-mail does the work for you: it suggests, on a tender in your sector, the companies that complement you, tells you who looked at your page this week, and lists the needs posted by buyers.
Request an introduction
Open the profile and tap Get in touch
From a tender page or from the directory. Describe the opportunity or what you are looking for in a sentence or two: a precise message gets an answer; an empty request rarely does.
SangoBids notifies the company
It is notified in the app and by e-mail, then reminded. Your contact details are not passed on at this stage: the company decides. A request left unanswered expires after seven days.
It accepts: you talk
You can then message each other in SangoBids, and each side sees the other's contact details. A button sends the tender to WhatsApp to carry on where business gets done.
Declare yourself available on a tender
On a tender's Partners tab, I am available lists you in one tap among the companies ready to sub-contract, supply or team up on that contract, with an optional note on what you bring. Companies preparing a bid on that contract see you first. You can withdraw the declaration at any time.
If you are the one looking, Post a request describes what you expect from a partner on that contract; interested companies reply, and you choose.
Being found
The directory only shows companies that said what they offer. From My company, set your offer types (sub-contracting, supply, joint bid), one sentence saying what you do, your sectors and your regions. With a logo, your references and an up-to-date administrative file, your profile ranks ahead of the others.
The requests you receive arrive by notification and by e-mail, and are kept under Introductions. The My company page counts the members who opened your profile in the app and the visits to your public page, so you know whether you are being looked at.
What the network does not do
It does not draft the joint-bid agreement, and does not check companies for you: the Verified badge only means SangoBids checked the administrative documents of a company that asked for it.
It does not pass on your contact details without your consent. Until a request is accepted, the other company sees only your name and your profile.
What next
The bidding guide explains when and how to team up or sub-contract, and the administrative documents a partner will also have to provide. To keep your own file current, see My documents.
